Craftsman Truck Series
Racing Series
NASCAR's Craftsman Truck Series began in 1995 as the SuperTruck Series by Craftsman.
The series involves NASCAR vehicles similar to Nextel Cup cars fitted with bodies resembling full-size pickup trucks such as the Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F-150, Dodge Ram and Toyota Tundra instead of cars.
Four off-road racers are credited with the idea of NASCAR's pickup truck racing series. Dick Landfield, Jimmy Smith, Jim Venable, and Scoop Vessels built a demonstration race truck in 1993 and presented it to NASCAR. The creation of the SuperTruck Series by Craftsman was announed in May of 1994 in Sonoma, California and first race was a demonstration race in July 1994 in Bakersfield, California.

Most of the collectibles lists on the site (including model kits, die cast cars and cards), due to the enormous volume of information available, are not complete listings of all available collectibles. The driver Win Lists usually consist of major event wins, and include minor events only when the information is available.
