U.S. Navy NASCAR driver Mark McFarland enjoys a pre-race visit with area Sailors. The Sailors took part in the opening ceremony for the Kroger 200 at O'Reilly Raceway Park as part of festivities of Indianapolis Navy Week. Twenty-six such weeks are planned in cities throughout the U.S., arranged by the Navy Office of Community Outreach (NAVCO). NAVCO is a unit tasked with enhancing the Navy's brand image in areas with limited exposure to the Navy.
