Technically, just about any activity involving an automobile can be a "hobby" but for the purposes of organizing The Crittenden Automotive Library the "Hobbies" subject includes almost anything done for competition or enjoyment that does not involve real cars. This includes building plastic scale models, collecting die cast models, playing video games, racing radio control cars or slot cars, racing Soap Box Derby or Pinewood Derby cars, and all types of collecting of automobilia.

Few, if any, practical technologies have inspired as many hobbies as the automobile. Including information relating to car hobbies is an important aspect of the goal of preserving the culture surrounding the automobile and other road vehicles and racing sports.

We are excited to help keep projects like The Crittenden Automotive Library keep truckin. We've been fans of cars from a young age and love this site. Please think of Your Import Car Doctors (one of the best auto repair shops colorado springs) when you need a tune up in the Springs area.
