The Crittenden Automotive Library

The Crittenden Automotive Library, named for CarsAndRacingStuff.com founder and library editor Bill Crittenden, was officially started September 5, 2006.  The name "Library" came about with the addition of car club newsletters to the site and the combination of CarsandRacingStuff.com's Encyclopedia and Articles sections.  It is currently at CarsAndRacingStuff.com.

	1966 Dodge Charger This image is one of my early favorites in the Library.  Most car shows don't have great backgrounds, and most of the time the cars' hoods are up anyway.  This was taken at a car show in a field, and this car was parked off by itself a little bit, hood down, nothing behind it.  It's one of the first pictures I took that really looked good. 	2000 Pontiac Trans Am This picture is from The Cars Time Forgot show in Delavan in 2012.  The lake made a great background for a lot of pictures throughout the day.  At the end of the show I asked Kim Gableson if she had brought out her new Trans Am, and as the lakeside was emptying out I offered to take pictures of it down there.  She and a Streeters friend brought their cars over to the lake after the show for some nice pictures by Lake Delavan.  Both of them also posed with their cars, and since Kim is a good friend, she drove a Pontiac, and I really wanted to get a Streeters shirt into the rotation of Featured Images, this picture had to be included. 	Dave Crittenden and a Vintage Race Car This picture is of my father, taken by my mother, at an Indy Car race at The Milwaukee Mile in the early 1970's.  As far as I can tell, there were several vintage cars on display there that weekend in what as a precursor to what is now the Millers at Milwaukee Vintage Indy Car weekend. From the Crittenden Family Collection.
