NASCAR Nextel Cup driver.  Son of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt.

President of Infield Parking (www.infieldparking.com), a social networking website for NASCAR fans.

On May 10, 2007, at the JR Motorsports shop, Dale announced that 2007 would be his last season with Dale Earnhardt, Inc.  On June 13 he then announced the signing of a 5-year contract with Hendrick Motorsports.

NASCAR car No. 21, Ricky Rudd, held off the challenge of No. 8 Dale Earnhardt Jr. during the running of the Gatorade 150 held here Feb. 17. Mr. Rudd, who finished in 5th place, will start in the 11th position for the Daytona 500, which will be held here Feb. 20.

McFarland, driver of the No. 88 U.S. Navy "Accelerate Your Life" Chevrolet Monte Carlo who also received a flight during their visit, greeted locally stationed Sailors and Marines to shake hands and sign autographs after the flight.
