A sports car produced by Chevrolet. First produced from model years 1954-1982 and again from 1984 on.
In 1976 a rear-engined Corvette concept was produced called the Aerovette.
The Chevrolet Corvette has made 9 appearances as the Pace Car for the Indianapolis 500 starting in 1978.
