C6 refers to the sixth generation of Chevrolet Corvette, manufactured beginning with model year 2005.
C6 Corvettes have made two appearances as the Indianapolis 500 Pace Car, first in 2005 with Colin Powell drivin, then in 2006 a Z06 was driven by Lance Armstrong and in 2008 with Emerson Fittipaldi driving. For 2008, 500 Pace Car replicas were produced, signed and numbered by Fittipaldi.
