Accent
Vehicle Model
A subcompact car produced by Hyundai. Replaced the Excel for the 1995 model year. Available in sedan and hatchback models. Made in Ulsan, South Korea.
Model years 1996-1997 were recalled by the NHTSA because the windshield wiper motor circuit breaker electrical contacts were contaminated during assembly (NHTSA recall 97V026000).
Major redesigns were made for the 2000 and 2006 model years.
