The Flying Lap, Episode 32: Hungarian GP Debrief with F1 Fanatic & F1 Statistician Sean Kelly
August 3, 2011
Duration: 1:13:25
In Episode 32, Peter is joined in the studio by Keith Collantine, the editor and founder of one of the world's most successful F1 websites - F1 Fanatic. A passionate and knowledgable F1 enthusiast who embraced the new-media generation well ahead of his time, Keith is respected up and down the F1 pit-lane. He is joined by Sean Kelly (@virtualstatman), who is unquestionably F1's leading statistician as well as a budding author of detailed F1 books. An Englishman by birth, Sean is now based in San Diego, California. As the supplier of detailed statistics to several major TV networks, including SpeedTV and the BBC, Sean regularly attends races and joins us on The Flying Lap fresh from the Hungaroring. We look back at Jenson Button's phenomenal win in Hungary; we discuss the storm created by the news that British F1 fans will see only 50 per cent of the races live next year on the BBC; we look at the potential for Sky's F1 coverage; and we talk, too, about the ongoing Lotus litigation - something that was again in full view of the public in London's High Court last week.

The Flying Lap, Episode 80: German GP Debrief; Hungarian GP Preview
July 27, 2012
Duration: 1:11:13
In our last show before the August summer shut-down, we look back at last Sunday's Santander German GP and ahead to this weekend's Hungarian GP. Craig Scarborough will be talking us through all the key technical developments on the leading cars and in the studio Rob Wilson will be looking at the drivers in detail and at the way the season is panning-out. Are Ferrari and Fernando Alonso now set fair for the 2012 World Championship? Can McLaren rebound with a win in Hungary? And where is the prodigious speed shown by Red Bull in Valencia? We'll be talking about all this and more with two of the best-informed people in the F1 business.
