CONCORD, NC (02-22-10) - The green flag will drop for the Tire Kingdom 150 presented by ModSpace at Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR) in less than a week on February 27th. Venturini Motorsports has been preparing for the second stop of the 20-race ARCA Racing schedule.

The team enters Palm Beach International Raceway with a four-car line up. Venturini Motorsports will be fielding cars for Alli Owens, Mikey Kile, Tom Berte, and Steve Arpin.

Alli Owens will be driving the no. 15 ElectrifyingCareers.com Chevy. Full season driver, Mikey Kile will be behind the wheel of the no. 25 Renton Coil Spring/Venturini Motorsports Toyota. Venturini Motorsports will also be fielding a car for returning driver Tom Berte. Berte will be in the no. 35 CGS Premier-Stay Tuned Customs Chevrolet. Steve Arpin will be driving the no. 55 Taylor Chassis Toyota.

The race at Palm Beach International Raceway will be the 13th road course race ever scheduled in the ARCA Racing sanctioned events since 1953. Venturini Motorsports feels strong going into the first of two road course races of the 2010 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Mendards season. After practice earlier this month at PBIR, the team headed back to Concord, NC on the top of the speed charts.

Venturini Motorsports’ development driver, Steve Arpin, was the fastest among the ARCA Series drivers who will compete in the 150 mile race on February 27th. Steve Arpin posted a top speed of 91.613 mph and lap time of 79.495. This will be Arpin’s second ARCA Racing road course race. “The Venturinis brought a great car to the Palm Beach test. It was the same car we ran at New Jersey in 2009. We broke on the first lap at the New Jersey race last year, so it was nice to turn some fast laps today,” said Aprin.

Venturini Motorsports’ drivers have been doing a lot of pre-race preparing outside of the test session at PBIR. Mikey Kile, driver of the no. 25 Renton Coil Spring/Venturini Motorsports Toyota, who was 6th overall quickest at the PBIR test session, also did some pre-season road course racing to fine-tune his skills. During the off-season Kile attended the Bob Bondurant School in Phoenix, AZ to get some extra road course racing experience and tips.

After the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona Int’l Speedway, Billy Venturini, competition director, sat down with each of the drivers to review the past race in order to prepare for the next event. The extra step that Venturini Motorsports takes in order to strengthen their drivers demonstrates the proven success of the Venturini Motorsports Driver Development Program.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards will have the Tire Kingdom 150 presented by ModSpace on Saturday, February 27th. The race will begin at 1:00pm ET. The event will also be featured in live streaming audio on ARCAracing.com
