BENTONVILLE, Ark., April 14, 2011 – As Dover prepares for the upcoming Sprint Cup Series race on May 15, Walmart is giving racing fans more reason to get excited with its new Race Time program. Walmart customers and NASCAR fans can purchase the Walmart Family Track Pack available exclusively through http://see.Walmart.com/NASCAR for the Sprint Cup Series. The discount ticket package includes four race tickets, four hot dogs, four beverages and one race program for just $99, a savings of nearly $100 for a family of four.
“We’ve found that nearly nine out of 10 NASCAR fans chose to shop at Walmart ,” said Walmart market manager Steven Reed, “We wanted to provide Dover race fans with unbelievable savings on NASCAR tickets and merchandise and unique Race Time experiences that you can only find at Walmart.”

Beginning May 11, select Walmart stores in the Dover area will host NASCAR fan events featuring real stock racing car displays and racing simulator machines – perfect to safely get behind the wheel and feel the power of NASCAR.
