A Pontiac dealership in Kirwood, Missouri.  Carson Pontiac was owned and operated by brothers Joseph V. Carson and Norman W. Carson who were born in Pocahantas, Illinois

The address was 10230 Manchester Road, Kirkwood, Missouri 63122.  They were in business from 1958 until mid-1975.  A new building was being built in St. Louis, Missouri (6303 South Lindbergh Blvd. 63123) when the dealership was sold to Don Darr.  The original location in Kirkwood is occupied by Parktown Audi as of mid-2012.

The Carson name tag for new cars was originally metal with the Pontiac Indian Head logo and Carson name, marked "Kirkwood Missouri," and affixed to cars with screws (used cars were given stick-on decals).  In the late 1960's Carson switched to tags applied with double-sided tape to eliminate the holes.  In the mid 1970's the city name on the tag was changed to St. Louis in anticipation of the move to the South Lindbergh Blvd. building.
