For Immediate Release

Dover, DE (May 26, 2008) - NASCAR superstar Kyle Busch will be back behind the wheel of the No. 51 Miccosukee Resorts Billy Ballew Motorsports Toyota Tundra at the Dover International Raceway for the running of the AAA Insurance 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race Friday, May 30, 2008.

Busch will be running in all three NASCAR Premier Touring Series at Dover and is looking to match Mark Martin who is the only driver to ever score at least one win in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, the NASCAR Nationwide Series, and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the Monster Mile. Busch’s brother and former NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Kurt Busch won the inaugural Craftsman Truck Series event in 2000.

The Craftsman Truck Series has never had a repeat winner but Busch has been on a hot streak in 2008 and looks to break that. Busch has led in all three prior NCTS starts for Billy Ballew Motorsports at the Monster Mile, 182 laps total, posting one win in 2005. Billy Ballew Motorsports has six previous starts.

“The truck was super fast in 2007 but the race went a long time without a caution,” Busch said. “There were two pretty good size accidents right out of the starting gate and we had only run 20 laps of green flag racing when the next caution came out, so we stayed out for position. I wanted to save the sticker tires for a late run and I made the call not to take any tires, only fuel. We were able to regain the lead but I just didn’t have the grip to hold on. I knew the tires were gone and hated to give up positions that close to the end. I always have a lot of fun racing and am looking forward to getting back in the truck again this weekend.

I feel like Dover is a pretty good track for me. I think we’ve got a great shot in all three series’ to try and take home one of those Monster trophies so we’ll see how it goes. The trucks are definitely going to be a good show. I’d like to try and go out there and win one for Billy Ballew and just keep the streak going.”

According to the NASCAR Statistical Data, Busch owns Craftsman Truck Series-highs in Driver Rating (125.7), Average Running Position (4.2) and Fastest Laps Run (80).

Busch last piloted the No. 51 Miccosukee Resorts Tundra at the Lowe’ Motor Speedway where he ran 740 laps in three NASCAR points paying races. Busch was the only driver to complete 100% of the laps in the three premier NASCAR Touring Series (Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Craftsman Truck) races at the Charlotte, NC track.

The AAA Insurance 200 (200 laps, 200 miles) NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race is slated to begin at 5:00pm ET with coverage beginning on SPEED at 8:00pm ET. Live radio coverage begins at 5:00pm ET on MRN and Sirius Satellite Radio.
