Toyota is partnering with a Russian automaker to boost production of its vehicles to meet demand in Russia.

Toyota, the world largest automaker, will use an existing factory of Sollers automotive in eastern Russia to build 30,00 vehicles annually.

Sollers will join Mitsui & Company of Japan in assembling the cars, and Toyota will train workers and provide the parts.

Toyota first began building cars in Russia in 2007, at the company's St. Petersburg plant.
