CHARLOTTE, N.C. (July 27, 2009) Steve Arpin announced early this morning that he will be joining forces with Venturini Motorsports for this weekend’s Pennsylvania ARCA 200 at Pocono Speedway. The arrangement will put Arpin in the driver’s seat of the Venturini Motorsports No.25 Toyota Camry that carried Joey Logano to an ARCA RE/MAX Series win earlier in the 2009 season when the tour made its first stop at the famed two and a half mile superspeedway in Pocono, Pennsylvania. Arpin who continues to be shown in seventh place of the season-long driver championship standings on the ARCA RE/MAX series is excited about the new opportunity and is looking forward to working with the Venturini Team. The pairing of Arpin with Venturini Motorsports has created a stir of enthusiasm in the ARCA garage, particularly within the Venturini camp.

‘All of us at Venturini Motorsports are very excited to have Steve Arpin join our team,’ said Billy Venturini Jr. on the new deal. ‘Steve has shown extreme promise in his efforts this year and is well on his way to getting to victory lane. We feel that Venturini Motorsports is the team that will get him there.’

The former multi-time open-wheel modified champion is ready for the change and has one goal in mind for the future; winning races.

‘We had a good start of the year with ESR and all the guys and we all came a long ways each and every week,’ Said Arpin. ‘It’s hard for me to leave behind a team that I have worked so hard with, but at the same time I am very excited looking forward. This is an incredible opportunity with Venturini Motorsports. They have had incredible success this year with a lot of different drivers and I am looking forward to bringing even more success to the team. Winning races is what I am here to do and I am ready to lay down one heck of a burn out after our first checkered flag.’

This season marks Arpin’s first full year of asphalt racing experience after several stellar seasons on dirt in which the young Canadian talent became a dominant force and earned numerous titles while racking up wins in his open wheel modified against the strongest competition in North America while also attracting the attention of some of the sports biggest names.

Last season Arpin claimed the USAC Silver Crown Rookie of the Year award, while driving the No.35 Carl Edwards/ RE Technologies Ford and prior to moving into auto racing. Arpin earned 7 world championships in snowmobile competition as lead pilot for Team Polaris. In Arpin’s new role with Venturini Motorsports, associates at Taylor Motorsports, Lo-N-Bro Enterprises and Pinewood Sports & Marine will continue to play supporting roles in his new efforts.

About Venturini Motorsports

www.venturinimotorsports.com

Racing has been a family sport for the Venturini’s since 1951. Billy’s grandfather, Tony, raced in the Chicagoland area through the 50’s. Then came 2nd generation driver Bill Sr. He also began his career in the Chicago area. After winning 2 International Racing Association titles, which only competed in a 3 state venue, Bill moved to the highly competitive series of ARCA. Bill Sr. set the stage on what was to become a great career in ARCA by becoming Rookie Of The Year in 1983. By the time that his racing career ended in 1995, Bill had become ARCA National Champion twice. The first one came in 1987 and then again in 1991. Along the way, Bill Sr. set and still holds the qualifying records at Daytona and Talladega Speedways. The latter is still an all-time ARCA record of 205.634 mph!

Venturini Motorsports Driver Development Program started in 2007 when NASCAR Nationwide Series team CJM Racing (No.11) linked with the Venturini’s. CJM Racing wanted a program they could use to watch young talent, test their up and coming drivers and mold them into future NASCAR stars. Shortly after CJM linked with Venturini Motorsports, Joe Gibbs Racing also began utilizing the Driver Development Program. The program was formed, and today it has become one of the most well know programs not only in the ARCA RE/MAX Series but throughout the ranks of NASCAR.

About Lo-N-Bro Enterprises, Inc.

www.lonbro.com

Paul and Jon Leach, brothers and Sun River, Montana Natives, started the business in 1998 while only 21 and 18 years old respectively. In that first stage, the entire staff was made up by the two of them. In 2001 they took their “baby” to the next step and transitioned from being an LLC to becoming a formal corporation. One of their first major projects was to build a 10,000 square foot shop on their property in Sun River that formed the base for their operations. Since that time, they have grown into a company that employs over 85 people and generates revenue of over $5,000,000.00 annually. Paul and Jon are always looking for ways to expand their business, while also filling a niche’ within the respective areas of contracting. One of the prominent areas that they give their employees credit for is how they have helped to build Lo-N-Bro into what it is today. The quality of people that are hired, as well as retained, reaches far beyond the industry standard. Paul and Jon genuinely value each and every individual employee and want the best for them as well as the best out of them. Employees are dynamic members of the family, and thus are offered incredibly competitive wages and benefits, as well as opportunities to advance within the company.
