Date: 27 August 1925
Subject: Trucking
Topic: Minnesota Truck Owners' Association

Minneapolis, Minn., Aug. 26.—The Minnesota Truck Owners' Association today is prepared to attack the entire structure of the Automobile Bus Regulatory Act passed by the last Legislature upon the grounds that it is discriminatory and unconstitutional.

Gustave A. Will, counsel, is prepared to seek an injunction immediately, restraining the secretary of state from putting the act into effect. The act sets the taxes on farmers' trucks at 2.75 per cent. of truck value; grocer or other mercantile delivery trucks at 5 per cent. and transfer company hauling trucks at 10 per cent.
