Detroit, Aug. 26.—Departing from its procedure of former years, General Motors Truck Company has inaugurated a season of branch managers' meetings that will cover a period of several weeks, with only three of four managers in attendance at each session. It is now under way here, and at the Pontiac plant of the company.

Three-day sessions are given to each group on sales, service, advertising, engineering and finance. C. H. Engelman, general sales manager, says: “This conference is to effect a factory user contact through our branch representatives and we believe that the present intensive plan can be counted on for good results.”

Branch managers for the conferences this week are F. B. Tyler, J. C. Trumbull, W. H. Moore, B. M. Price, New York; J. C. Campbell, Philadelphia; O. W. Crenshaw, Cleveland; L. C. White, Indianapolis; J. W. Davis, Chicago; H. A. Meill, Atlanta; A. B. Hurst, Memphis; John Nieol, Minneapolis; A. S. Johnson, St. Louis; C. F. Rouze, Kansas City; J. M. Sullivan, Denver; J. A.
