The Staple Pontiac Wave Mirror

The Pontiac Wave sedan, a product of the partnership between the American General Motors and the South Korean Daewoo, has several counterparts in other countries. Its other aliases and makes include the Chevrolet Aveo and the Suzuki Swift. One thing that sets Pontiac Wave apart, aside from being largely sold in Canada, is that every car in this range has an iPod audio console. Despite some differences, however, the Pontiac Wave naturally has the standard auto parts that are also found in its counterparts. One of those staples is the Pontiac Wave mirror.

With its primary use of aiding the driver in safely maneuvering this Pontiac car all the time, a Pontiac Wave mirror is one of the crucial players in this spacious sedan. The side-view mirrors and the rear-view mirror are the standard types of car mirrors installed. Between these two types, side-view mirrors are more often used while driving. By glancing once in a while at these mirrors, the driver gets to have a good view of approaching vehicles on both sides. Moreover, when parking, these particular auto parts allow the operator to see and to estimate available spaces at the sides of his automobile. As its name implies, the rear-view mirror, which is attached with a swivel mount on the windscreen, on the other hand, literally aids one to see the back area. Objects, vehicles, and other obstructions behind this lightweight sedan are easily seen because of this type of mirror.

The rear mirror is adjusted manually while the side-view ones are adjusted through the power mirror feature. What this technology does is bring convenience to the driver. While comfortably seated on the driver’s seat, one can adjust the side mirrors through a special console. Pressing a button or two can move the mirrors in a horizontal and a vertical manner. Such feature of the Pontiac Wave also allows getting an accurate and ideal mirror position to view 90 percent of the road and 10 percent of the sedan’s body.

For these helpful functions, the Pontiac Wave mirror assembly is clearly one of the things that this sedan cannot operate well without. Despite all the high-end technologies cars are now equipped with, simple parts, like the car mirror, remain indispensable.
