STUART, Florida (August 11, 2008) - - USAR Hooter’s Pro Cup veteran Bryan Silas announced today that he has parted ways with T2 Motorsports operated by Rocky Bayne effective immediately. Silas will form his own USAR Hooter’s Pro Cup team set to launch at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) next week.

“I appreciate everything that T2 Motorsports, Rocky and Trevor Bayne have done for me,” said Silas, who competes full-time in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. Unfortunately, the chemistry wasn’t there and in the best interest of everyone involved, we felt it was best to part ways. I’m extremely thankful for the opportunity to work with T2 Motorsports and I wish them the absolute best in their future endeavors.”

Silas will return to USAR action next week at Bristol Motor Speedway with former NASCAR Nationwide and ARCA RE/MAX Series driver Josh Richeson calling the shots as crew chief. Richeson, the son of NASCAR and ARCA crew chief Donnie Richeson will lead the USAR team for the remainder of the 2008 season.

“I’m excited to work with Josh (Richeson),” added Silas. “The Richeson family has been around racing for many decades and I think working with Josh will prove to be beneficial for me. I’m recharged and looking forward to Bristol and the rest of the season.”

The Aaron’s 150 is set for Wednesday, August 20 serving as the prelude to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Bristol Motor Speedway. The green flag is scheduled to waive shortly after 5:45 p.m. local time.

Palm Beach Grading (PBG), Rockingham Speedway and Oasis will continue to hold share title sponsorship of Silas’s Ford Fusion for the balance of the 2008 season.
