Excellent spot by our man in Spain. This 1961 Ford Thunderbird, also known as the Rocket Bird, is in concourse condition. It's got a 390 cubic inch (6.3 litre) V8 engine with three speed Cruise-O-Matic transmission.

The car has undergone a complete body-off refurbishment and has an original interior, original engine and gearbox but totally rebuilt.

Travelling in convoy with the Thunderbird was this 1961 Chevrolet Corvette. It's not often you see a pair of cars like this - especially in rural Spain.
