Jaguar Land Rover might be in Indian ownership but it's milking its British heritage for all it's worth this coming weekend.

In scenes that would make Mr Bridger proud, Jaguars and Land Rovers old and new will be displayed at the Queen's 60th anniversary Coronation Festival in the grounds of Buckingham Palace from 12 to 14 July.

The following Royal Warrants of Appointment have been granted to Jaguar:

1951 HM The Queen (transferred to the present Queen on her accession in 1952)
1964 HM Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother
1987 HRH The Prince of Wales
2012 HRH The Duke of Edinburgh

And to Land Rover:

1951 HM King George VI
1955 HM The Queen
1964 HM Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother
1981 HRH The Prince of Wales
1987 HRH The Duke of Edinburgh

All very marvellous.
