Porsche make cars that are arguably more beautiful on the inside than the outside, with their exquisite engineering, obsessive attention to detail and the engine hidden away out at the back.

Technical Porsche features tend to be well received, such as this gallery of every 911 engine, this series of cutaway images of 911s, Caymans, classic Porsches and, my favourite, this GIF of the 911 evolution over the years.

But this engine teardown video is just brilliant.
