Volvo's Latest Concept - The XC Coupe

In Volvo land XC means SUV but this is the XC Coupe concept, so it's an SUV Coupe. Normally when manufacturers try to create an SUV coupe the results are disastrous but Volvo seems to have pulled it off.
The XC Coupe is the second of three Volvo concepts, the first being the rather lovely Concept Coupe. The XC Coupe uses similar design language and retains the three door body.
These concepts are being released to demonstrate not only Volvo's future design direction but also its scalable product architecture - similar in principle to shared platforms.
We know nothing of the drive train other than it'll be a plug-in hybrid. The car will be revealed at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) on 13 January.
