“Chris Knight, Lori Munro, Dennis Michelsen & Mike Harper To Discuss Latest ARCA Buzz”

CHICAGO, Illinois (January 29, 2008) - - Race Talk Radio’s ARCA Thunder will begin their second show of the 2008 season tonight beginning at 8:00pm EST with an action-packed show jammed into two hours of the latest from ARCAville.

The ARCA Thunder crew will welcome back Bryan Silas, driver of the No. 11 Nortrax-Rockingham Speedway Ford Fusion for Fast Track Racing. Silas is expected to talk about his upcoming sophomore season in ARCA competition, the addition of crew chief Jeff McClure and his powerful results at last week’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series test at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Race Talk Radio also officially announced today that Silas will be a monthly contributor to ARCA Thunder throughout the 2008 season.

Before Silas reaches the airwaves, the crew will open up the show discussing Michael McDowell, the former Eddie Sharp Racing phenomenon who leaped from an impressive ARCA rookie season in 2007 to drive for Michael Waltrip Racing in the NASCAR Nationwide and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series this year. Also on the agenda, is the new growing trend in the ARCA RE/MAX Series of multiple ownerships.

After Silas, Chris Knight will chime in on the latest news and rumors presented by Race City Steel. Immediately following the segment the group will have an open forum on announcements and news from the past two weeks.

In the final segment of the show, the group will talk about Bobby Gerhart. Can the cagy ARCA veteran win for the sixth time at Daytona and fourth in-a-row? The crew will also look at the 2008 season and predict the top-five championship contenders. Also on the hot seat is new Eddie Sharp Racing rookie Scott Speed. Will he be a hero or zero in 2008?

Closing out the show will be a small preview of next Tuesday’s show which will preview the ARCA 200 at Daytona. A full list of schedule, appearances, entry list, go or go-homers and much more!

“It’s going to be a great show tonight,” said ARCA Thunder host Mike Harper. “A lot is happening in the ARCA garage right now and we’re here to bring it to the table. We’re thrilled to have Bryan Silas on tonight, a true supporter of ARCA Thunder.”
