“Host Mike Harper with Lori Munro, Chris Knight And Dennis Michelsen To Discuss ARCAville USA !”

CHICAGO, Illinois (March 25, 2008) - - You can substitute engines for thunder. And those engines fired this past weekend at Rockingham Speedway as several ARCA RE/MAX Series drivers and teams tackled the one-mile speedway in preparation for the Carolina 500K on May 4th. The ARCA Thunder crew presented by Rockingham Speedway will talk about Rockingham extensively and bring two drivers into the spotlight to talk about their recent test at “The Rock” tonight on RaceTalkRadio.com.

Before turning focus towards the drivers, the first segment will be focused on reviewing the overall test speeds from Rockingham. In addition the ARCA Thunder crew presented by Rockingham Speedway will discuss “The Missing”; who skipped or missed the crucial two-day ARCA RE/MAX Series open test at Rockingham Speedway.

Following the first segment, ARCA Thunder focuses on the SPEEDtv.com Hot Seat with newcomer Matt Carter on deck. Carter, the new driver of the No. 46 Ford Fusion for Tri-State Motorsports will communicate with the ARCA Thunder crew presented by Rockingham Speedway about his new ride; his new sponsor; Stine Seed and his thoughts on the remainder of the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule. Carter is the son of former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series owner Travis Carter. The North Carolina native rises to the ARCA RE/MAX Series after a successful stint in the USAR Hooter’s Pro Cup Series.

Proceeding Carter will be well-known ARCA Thunder guest Bryan Silas, driver of the No. 11 Nortrax-ICI Homes Ford Fusion for Fast Track Racing, owned by Rockingham Speedway owner Andy Hillenburg for the Around The Track installment presented by Team GLOCK. Silas will make his second appearance on the show this season and will disclose the outcome of his recent test at Rockingham Speedway; his first USAR Hooter’s Pro Cup start of the season and his random thoughts heading into Salem Speedway in less than three weeks!

Before heading to break, the ARCA Thunder crew presented by Rockingham Speedway will chat about the ARCAwhackers from Nashville Superspeedway this past weekend in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

The final installment of the night will be jammed pack. Before turning the microphone over to Chris Knight, listeners will be able to hear a series of interviews from Rockingham Speedway this past weekend. Everything from the track, tires, teams, season; sponsors and much more will be unveiled in our first driver’s audio of the season. ARCA insider Chris Knight will then follow the interviews with his news and rumors presented by Race City Steel. Following the news segment, the ARCA Thunder team presented by Rockingham Speedway will discuss Ken Schrader, who will make his first ARCA start of the season at Salem next month. Schrader, carrying sponsorship from Federated Auto Parts will attempt to make his 47th career start at the tricky half-mile oval on Sunday, April 13.

"I'm looking forward to having Matt Carter on the show because I think his 2008 story is interesting. He's the guy who has replaced Kimmel in the No. 46, so what could be bigger?,” said ARCA Thunder presented by Rockingham Speedway host Mike Harper. "We always enjoy Bryan Silas on the show. He's a great personality and we'll find out how his test went at Rockingham."

Next week, ARCA Thunder presented by Rockingham Speedway will welcome sophomore ARCA RE/MAX Series driver Patrick Sheltra to the program. Following Sheltra, Gabi DiCarlo, driver of the No. 90 Great Clips Chevrolet drops by in the Around The Track installment presented by Team GLOCK to give her thoughts on a much better start to her ARCA RE/MAX Series season.
