TALLADEGA, Alabama (September 18, 2008) - - Lakeville, Minnesota based Win-Tron Racing announced today the team will field a TOYOTA Camry for the upcoming ARCA RE/MAX Series event at Talladega Superspeedway with the youngest winner in ARCA RE/MAX Series history (USA International Speedway, March 2007) James Buescher at the controls.

Win-Tron Racing has spent the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series season running the Dodge emblem but the team is focused on exploring their manufacturer options for the 2009 season while putting Buescher, the Plano , Texas native in contention in his inaugural restrictor plate event for the ARCA RE/MAX 250 on October 3.

“As a team we are very excited but optimistic about running a TOYOTA Camry for the ARCA race at Talladega ,” said Win-Tron Racing’s Nate Thiesse. “It’s not a secret that TOYOTA has been extremely successful and somewhat dominant in the ARCA RE/MAX Series this year and we feel that in order for us to evaluate our potential options for 2009, we needed to get a jumpstart this year so we can be lined up when testing falls for the series at Daytona International Speedway in December.”

The team’s automobile comes from Bill Davis Racing (BDR) where the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team has fielded an ARCA RE/MAX Series entry for the last two consecutive restrictor plate events at Talladega Superspeedway and Daytona International Speedway with former Win-Tron Racing driver Michael Annett at the wheel. Annett went on to win both events and has since moved up to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with BDR.

“BDR has had a phenomenal restrictor plate program in the series they’ve competed in,” noted Thiesse. “We’re going to utilize Thursday’s open test session at Talladega Superspeedway to dial in our No. 32 Mercedes Homes-Win-Tron Driver Development TOYOTA Camry. James (Buescher, driver) is really looking forward to driving a TOYOTA and as a team we believe this move will put us in prime position for the race in a couple weeks.”

Win-Tron Racing joins Eddie Sharp Racing, ECC Motorsports and Venturini Motorsports as teams utilizing the TOYOTA Camry as their manufacturer of choice for the Talladega Superspeedway ARCA test this week.
