HARRISBURG, North Carolina (March 21, 2012) - - Andy Hillenburg’s Fast Track High Performance Driving School will offer a special incentive for new participants that sign-up for its courses from now until Friday, April 6, 2012.

Those who sign up for the driving school’s courses will receive two tickets for the highly anticipated NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS), Good Sam Road Assistance 200 presented by Cheerwine set for Sunday, April 15.

Currently, Fast Track pushes five different types of programs. Thunder Course (10-lap drive); Thunder and Lighting Course (20-lap drive), One Day Basic Oval (approximately 35 laps), Two Day Basic Oval (approximately 75 laps) and finally, the Advanced Short Track Driver Development Program.

Fast Track is known for allowing its fans to experience the thrill and exhilaration of strapping themselves into a stock car on a cost-efficient scale.

One course that is revving attention is the Advanced Short Track Driver Development Program. This newly developed course is designed to develop approved applicants from short track drivers to those aspiring to compete in the big-time series. Attendees will drive 3,400-pound stock cars on Rockingham Speedway’s half-mile “Little Rock” personally designed by Hillenburg, also often dubbed as a track similar to Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.

In addition, the Fast Track staff will assist it’s attendees as they fine tune their skills which includes driving lines, braking techniques, pit road and race procedures with a heavy concentration circulated on lap times. Upon completion, students are also given a personal assessment and evaluation by the 1995 ARCA Racing Series champion, Hillenburg.

“We wanted to offer our graduates to be a little part of history,” said Rockingham Speedway promoter Andy Hillenburg. “We appreciate everyone that comes through the Fast Track High Performance Driving School and this is a little way of saying thank you and allow them to be a part of something special when NASCAR makes it’s highly anticipated return at “The Rock” next month. We want to pack the racetrack like the fans were accustomed to back in the old days.”

An additional bonus through the school’s Advanced Short Track Driver Development Program is the participant will also be entered into the Circle Track’s Fast Track Blue Collar Driver Challenge at no additional cost (see eligibility requirements for full details). The Circle Track’s Blue Collar Driver Challenge will have the winning driver compete in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards contest at Lucas Oil (Ind.) Raceway in Indianapolis, Indiana scheduled for Friday, July 27.

Spaces for the development programs are limited, interested parties can sign-up by calling Fast Track at 704.455.1700 or visiting fasttrackracing.com.
