“Diversity Driver Brings Diversity Sponsor To Final Intermediate Track Of ’07 Season”

JOLIET, Illinois (September 7, 2007) - ARCA RE/MAX Series (ARS) driver Pierre Bourque announced today the signing of La Raza as the primary sponsor of his No. 62 Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Saturday’s Chicagoland ARCA 200, the 20th installment on the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule.

La Raza is the number one Spanish-language newspaper in Chicago with an audited weekly circulation of 196,594 according to Certified Audit Circulation. It is also among the largest Sunday Hispanic newspapers in the United States . La Raza has been recognized by the National Association of Hispanic Publications as the "Best Spanish Language Weekly" five times over the past decade and was named by Editor & Publisher as one of "Ten That Do It Right." La Raza and LaRaza.com are owned by ImpreMedia LLC.

ImpreMedia is the #1 Hispanic news and information company in the United States in online and print. ImpreMedia is also the nation’s largest Hispanic newspaper publisher with publications reaching 23 cities representing 72% of the U.S. Hispanic population. Those publications include El Diario La Prensa, Hoy Nueva York and Fin de Semana in New York, El Mensajero in the San Francisco Bay area, La Opinión and La Opinión Contigo in Los Angeles, La Prensa in Orlando and Tampa and La Raza in Chicago, each the leading Spanish language newspapers in their respective markets.

ImpreMedia’s titles also include La Vibra, the premier weekly entertainment publication for young urban Hispanics, with a circulation of 630,000 in seven key Hispanic markets, and Vista magazine distributed in 31 newspapers with one million copies across 23 U.S. markets. ImpreMedia provides marketers with effective multi-platform solutions in print and online to reach the rapidly growing and influential Hispanic market.

Teaming up with longtime ARCA team Fast Track Racing headed by two-time ARCA RE/MAX Series champion Andy Hillenburg, Bourque steers towards the ARCA Series to continue a busy year of Motorsports racing. From the NASCAR Busch East Series to the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, Bourque has enjoyed extreme success. Now returning to the series he stormed into the diversity spotlight in 2006, Bourque is relying on his Chicagoland debut for his first ARCA top-10 finish.

“It is such a distinct honor to carry the La Raza logos this weekend in Chicagoland,” said Bourque, a Motorsports icon in his home country of Canada . “Their marketing goals meet the same objectives we do as racecar drivers which makes us a perfect pair. La Raza has an exceptional platform in their industry and when the opportunity came about to bring them to the ARCA RE/MAX Series for the Chicagoland ARCA 200, it was a win-win situation.”

“We recognize the importance of the ARCA racing audience and welcome them to Impremedia’s growing online and print products. The Chicagoland ARCA 200 race is an excellent opportunity to highlight our award winning newspaper, La Raza and its online version, LaRaza.com, cornerstones of Chicago ’s vibrant Hispanic community. We look forward to a great weekend of racing with Pierre Bourque," said CEO of ImpreMedia Digital Arturo Duran.

Bourque continued, “I’m looking forward to Chicagoland. It’s great to be reunited with Fast Track Racing for the final intermediate track of the season. The components have come together for us to have a great run and reward our new sponsor with a satisfying finish. We are trying to finalize our racing plans for the 2008 season and a good run on Saturday will definitely help push our plans into overdrive.”

The Chicagoland ARCA 200 (134 laps/200 miles) is the 20th of 23 races on the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule. The seventh ARCA race held at Chicagoland Speedway is a two-day show. Practice begins Friday, September 7 with a two hour practice session planned from 1:00pm-3:00pm. ARCA SIM Factory pole qualifying is set for later in the day at 5:00pm Local Time. The event will take the green flag, Saturday, September 8 shortly after 1:00pm Local Time.
