POCONO, Pennsylvania (Wednesday, August 1, 2007) - - If you asked ARCA RE/MAX Series (ARS) driver Art Seeger two weeks ago if he would be participating in Saturday’s Pennsylvania 200, he wouldn’t have been able to give you a straight answer.

However, thanks to Seeger’s determination, hard work and faith, he’s heading to Pocono Raceway this weekend driving for longtime ARCA RE/MAX Series owner James Hylton in the No. 48 Dodge Charger.

Seeger is bringing a new organization into the ARS this weekend and if there is any track where Seeger believes he can roar to the front, Pocono is the place.

Scuderia O2, an ad agency based out of New York City , New York has signed on to take the primary sponsorship role of Seeger’s No. 48 Dodge in the 45th ARCA RE/MAX Series event held at the legendary 2.5-mile facility.

Scuderia O2 is Italian for Team Oxygen. Scuderia O2 created a Motorsports Marketing division this past April, sees this weekend’s ARCA event as an opportunity to bring their company to one of the most diverse racing sanctions currently operating in the United States , ARCA.

“First off, I am very excited about going back to Pocono Raceway this weekend,” said Seeger, a native of Tom Rivers, New Jersey. “I am also very excited to be promoting Scuderia O2 this weekend at Pocono Raceway. I’ve spent many days and hours consulting with the company trying to bring further awareness of the many good possibilities and advantages the ARCA RE/MAX Series can bring to a potential sponsor. They are heading in the right direction.”

Seeger continued, “CEO and Founder Mike Chinnici is a huge Motorsports fan and he started the Motorsports division out of his passion for Motorsports, we are hoping to show him a little more excitement on Saturday.”

In addition to Scuderia O2 debuting this weekend, they are promoting one of their top clients for the second ARCA event held at Pocono this season. New York Grand Prix will sport their logo’s on the Penske Racing chassis powered by Evernham this weekend.

The New York Grand Prix is opening in the fall of 2007 in Mount Kisco , New York . The Grand Prix of New York will serve as the country’s premier indoor kart racing and entertainment facilities for recreational racing and corporate events.

“We’re very excited to be promoting New York Grand Prix,” continued Seeger. “The corporation represents a great contribution to society and we’re looking forward to continuing to bringing further attentiveness about their program to the race fans in Pocono this weekend.”

Seeger will make his fourth career ARS start at Pocono Raceway on Saturday and driving for the legendary Hylton, he knows he is in good hands.

“I’ve been a fan of James Hylton for a long, long time,” explained Seeger. “This is truly an honor to finally work with him hand-in-hand and have him on my side this weekend in Pocono. I extremely enjoy racing at Pocono Raceway. I can’t say enough, I just love racing there. It offers its challenges, but it’s a driver’s racetrack and that’s what I like. James is bringing a nice Dodge Charger and the motor should be competitive, those are the two key components for success at Pocono, I think we’re going to be in great shape this weekend.”

In addition to Scuderia O2 and its associates leaping on board this weekend, Seeger is proud to have several local sponsors hop aboard his ninth career ARS start Saturday.

Cosmos Auto Recycling, Jim Potts Excavating, Ocean County Recycling, R&S Contractors, Patriot Excavating, Yankowski Enterprises, TLC Sign and Banner, Shustacks Welding and Hydralic Hoses, Petruzzelli General Contractors, James R. Ientile Inc., Fast Freddy's Sub Shop, Finishline Automotive, Triple "T" Canoe, Industrial Tractor Parts, Glenside Excavating and Big Dawg Concrete Construction will all serve as an associate sponsor on the No. 48 this weekend.

“Much like the race here in June, we have a lot of local support and I’m very proud of that,” Seeger continued. “There are a lot of people who helped make this race possible and I don’t forget that. I’m looking forward to having a good run on Saturday afternoon and hope this isn’t my last start of the 2007 ARCA season.”

The Pennsylvania 200 (80 laps/200 miles) is the 14 of 23 races on the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule. The 45th ARCA race held at Pocono Raceway is a two-day show. Practice begins Friday, August 3 with an hour and 45 minute (10:15am-11:55am) session planned. ARCA SIM Factory pole qualifying is set for later in the day at 1:45pm Local Time. The event will take the green flag on Saturday, August 4 shortly after 1:00pm Local Time with live coverage on SPEED. Additional race coverage can be found online at arcaracing.com
