POCONO, Pennsylvania (Wednesday, August 1, 2007) - - Joey Miller is back. The 2005 ARCA RE/MAX Series Rookie-of-the-Year has reunited with Country Joe Racing and will pilot the No. 32 Red Line Oil Dodge in Saturday’s Pennsylvania 200.

Miller, who’s been on the racing sidelines for much of the 2007 season is excited and ready to return to action in a series that he help dominate in 2005.

Earlier this year, Miller made his ’07 ARS debut at Nashville Superspeedway. After qualifying a strong 15th, engine failure would set in just 18 laps into the event giving Miller an unsatisfying finish. 10 races have now passed and with Miller back in the saddle, he would like to rebound from the Nashville misfortunate and take Country Joe Racing to victory lane for the second time this season.

“I’m very excited to be back with Country Joe Racing,” said Joey Miller. “The team is very special to me and it’s always a privilege to come back and drive for them. We had a good car at Nashville, but didn’t have the run we were looking for. I know we’ll have an excellent car this weekend and I think we have a legitimate chance of winning Saturday’s race. The race is going to be very competitive, but I’m up for the challenge and I think it may be one of the best races we’ve ever seen at Pocono Raceway.”

Joey Miller has two previous starts at the 2.5-mile triangle and the results have been mixed.

Rewinding back to his rookie season in 2005, In the June event, Miller qualified a stout second and finished a competitive third after leading 13 laps. In the July event, Miller stormed to one of his six career ARCA poles and led the first two circuits before a mechanical failure halted his potential sixth victory and instead delivered a sour 34th place finish.

“I enjoy competing at Pocono, it’s a very fun track,” added Miller. “We’ve run strong both times I’ve been there and there is no doubt in my mind that we’ll unload very competitive on Friday and be in contention to finish what we started in 2005.”

Miller continued, “Everything has to go right in order to have a good and successful run at Pocono Raceway. The place is hard on equipment including transmissions, engines and tires. Crew chief Mike Chaffee knows what I am looking for in the setup and it’s our intent to put our No. 32 Red Line Oil Dodge Charger in contention. The team has had a pretty good year and I would like nothing more than to bring the organization their second win of the season at a track that I feel owes me one.”

Nate Thiesse, Director of Operations for Country Joe Racing offered, “Everyone at Country Joe Racing is very excited to have Joey back behind the wheel this weekend. He has plenty of experience at Pocono and I think that will pay off for us in a big way this weekend. We’ve had some good runs this year, but the team is hungry for another win and we’ve been in contention each time we’ve arrived with Joey, we’re expecting the same on Saturday. It’s going to be an exciting race.”

The Pennsylvania 200 (80 laps/200 miles) is the 14 of 23 races on the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule. The 45th ARCA race held at Pocono Raceway is a two-day show. Practice begins Friday, August 3 with an hour and 45 minute (10:15am-11:55am) session planned. ARCA SIM Factory pole qualifying is set for later in the day at 1:45pm Local Time. The event will take the green flag on Saturday, August 4 shortly after 1:00pm Local Time with live coverage on SPEED. Additional race coverage can be found online at arcaracing.com
