TALLADEGA, Alabama (October 10, 2007) - - "The car was good all weekend and fun to drive,” exclaimed a happy Richard Johns after climbing out of the Roulo Bros. No. 39 BeavEx Ford Fusion with a fourth place finish in last Friday’s ARCA RE/MAX 250 at Talladega Superspeedway carried live on SPEED.

Moving up in the early stages from his 14th place starting position, Johns worked the middle and outside lanes before settling in on the bottom lane for a majority of the race. “With a little more experience, I’m sure I could of led a lot more than I did,” stated Johns, who also drives the No. 25 in the NASCAR Busch Series for Team Rensi Motorsports. “I learned a lot drafting up in the front. At the end we just had to be patient and grab the best finish possible. I have to thank everyone on the team and especially all of the support from BeavEx Courier Systems, Reliance Tool, Byus Construction, Motorsports Marketing Solutions and Ford Racing.”

Wheeling the Roulo Bros. Racing familiar No. 39 Ford Johns was one of four ARCA RE/MAX 250 race leaders. Richard led a total of eight laps including halfway. Talladega marked Johns’ fifth start for the Roulo Bros. team dating back to 2006. He has led in two of those five events.

“Richard did a great job in his first restrictor plate race,” commented Crew Chief Gary Roulo. “We knew we had a good car for the race and we worked with Richard during the open test and practice to get him comfortable to be up front. We used the first part of the race to search for where the car wanted to run and the car was working so well we only needed to pit once during the first caution for right side tires and fuel.”

Roulo continued, “We tried keeping all the Ford’s together at the front of the pack and it almost worked. I have to thank everyone at Roush Yates Engines for supplying the power under the hood.”

Johns’ fourth place finish at Talladega Superspeedway coupled with Roush Fenway Racing’s NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Rookie Of The Year Candidate David Ragan’s fourth place run For the Roulo Bros. in the 2007 season opener at Daytona International Speedway awards the Roulo Bros. Racing organization with the best average finish at Daytona and Talladega in the ARCA RE/MAX Series this season.
