FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

After Strong Martinsville Finish; Justin Boston Set To Rock At Rockingham Speedway In ZLOOP™ Entry

ROCKINGHAM, North Carolina (October 30, 2012) - - Just two weeks after storming to an impressive top-10 finish in the coveted Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 at the famed Martinsville (Va.) Speedway, Mooresville, North Carolina native Justin Boston is set to get back in action once again, this time in the UARA-STAR Late Model Series at the historic Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway on Saturday afternoon.

Boston, 23, is feeling confident heading into the track’s season finale and considering the difficult task he completed in Martinsville behind the wheel of the No. 51 ZLOOP™ Toyota Camry, the rising phenom has every right to feel stoked.

Despite skipping the open-test, Boston shined under enormous pressure in one of the most staged Late Model events in the country. With more than 80 race cars vying for 42 starting spots, the heat was on to earn a spot into the main attraction through the highly publicized heat races. Starting 12th in his respective heat, Boston kept his nose clean but sliced his way into the final transfer spot on the last lap of the contest.

Starting 30th overall, Boston methodically moved himself forward in the No. 51 ZLOOP™ Toyota Camry using the high line of the track. Settled in 17th at the halfway point, he utilized the remainder of the event to fight his way into the top-10, taking the checkered flag ninth.

“I have to thank my team,” said Boston. “The No. 51 ZLOOP™ Toyota Camry was really good throughout the whole race. We mainly bided our time and tried to stay out of trouble for the first half. The second part, we were a little more aggressive, took more chances and were able to secure a ninth. I’m really happy with how we raced and I feel like we had a legitimate shot at a top-five if the race had played out a little more in our favor. I can’t thank the guys enough for putting a good car underneath me. I’m looking forward to coming back next year and seeing how we can do.”

“Martinsville was a day of memories that will last a long time,” Boston said. “It felt awesome to be competitive with our No. 51 ZLOOP™ Toyota Camry. We were fortunate enough to stay out of trouble and bring home a good finish.”

Moving forward, Boston, along with his Statesville-based Performancenter Racing team are poised to improve even more on their recent outing with a top-five run if not a win at Rockingham.

While Boston has never competed in a race at the one-mile oval, he has racked up countless amounts of laps in testing. He’s hoping to use that practice to his advantage in a race that will feature some of North Carolina’s finest-racers.

“I am really excited to take to the track this weekend at Rockingham,” sounded Boston. “We have some momentum behind us after the strong run at Martinsville and I aim to continue that at The Rock. This is one of my favorite tracks to run and I couldn’t be more pumped to hit the high banks. Rockingham always has a good crowd and I’m excited to race at a place with such rich history.”

The Classic 3 Championship presented by the RCR Racing Museum is set for Saturday, November 3. The green flag is scheduled to waive shortly after 12:00 p.m.
