BENTONVILLE, Ark., March 10, 2011 – As Los Angeles prepares for the upcoming Fontana Auto Club 400 on March 27, Walmart is giving racing fans more reason to get excited with its new Race Time program. Walmart customers and NASCAR fans can purchase a discount ticket package available exclusively through http://see.Walmart.com/NASCAR for Fontana Auto Club 400. Ticket packages include four race tickets, four hot dogs, four beverages and one race program for just $99, a savings of nearly $100 for a family of four.

“We’ve found that nearly nine out of ten NASCAR fans chose to shop at Walmart2,” said Walmart Market Manager Wesley Morris, “We wanted to provide Los Angeles race fans with unbelievable savings on NASCAR tickets and merchandise and unique Race Time experiences that you can only find at Walmart.”

Beginning Wednesday, March 23, select Walmart stores in the Los Angeles area will host NASCAR fan events featuring real stock racing car displays, and racing simulator machines – perfect to safely get behind the wheel and feel the power of NASCAR.
