STONE BROTHERS RACING LEND SUPPORT TO EARTHQUAKE APPEAL

Stone Brothers Racing
March 7, 2011

Stone Brothers Racing (SBR) unveiled the special Christchurch Earthquake Appeal livery Shane van Gisbergen and Alex Davison will sport for the opening rounds of the 2011 V8 Supercar season.

SBR have strong ties to New Zealand so it was fitting that the Queensland-based team got behind the Red Cross appeal the best way they could.

"A lot of our crew have friends or relatives who have been affected by this disaster and there are a lot of others over there that need our help," SBR Team Principal Ross Stone said.

"Hopefully by reminding people over the next few weeks (through the decals on our cars) that support is still needed, we can help make a difference," he added.

You can donate to the appeal at www.redcross.org.nz/donate
