SBR ANNOUNCE LUCKY 7 RACING

Stone Brothers Racing
December 17, 2010

After much speculation SBR confirmed today that Lucky 7 will be the official title sponsor of car #47 in 2011. Evolving as a current sponsor on all three FG Falcons the new agreement comes as Tim Slade signs a deal with SBR to drive the Lucky 7 Racing Falcon under the James Rosenberg Racing Entitlement Contract next season.

The national convenience store banner first appeared in V8 Supercars with SBR in 2010 and since has seen great benefits in raising the profile of the existing 300+ Lucky 7 locations.

“It’s great to be associated with a brand like Lucky 7 that is expanding very quickly. We have enjoyed and developed a great relationship with them this year and after one season with SBR to be stepping up to title sponsor of the #47 car is exciting for all of us,” said Ross Stone

“Next year will be Tim Slade’s second year with us and after qualifying twice in the top ten at Sydney I think that we, together with Lucky 7 can all really look forward to next year.”

Craig Matthews, National Marketing Manager of Lucky 7 and Peter Dubbelman, CEO of Campbells Wholesale feel the V8 Supercar demographic is a perfect fit to further promote the convenience store brand.

“This is an exciting time for the Lucky 7 brand and a further indication of the ongoing support, development and commitment we have for driving the independent convenience channel in this country. With 60% of viewers aged between 18 and 44, it stands to reason that the fans who watch V8 Supercars are the same fans who call on our Lucky 7 convenience stores. We are extremely happy with our Stone Brothers Racing sponsorship and we look forward to a great year in 2011,’said Matthews.

“Our confidence in the growth of Lucky 7 is evidenced by the ongoing investment in the brand. Our association with SBR has been pleasing and we look forward to the 2011 season where our convenience retailers will receive even greater consumer exposure through our exclusive Lucky 7 V8 Supercar,” said Dubbleman.
