Gregory Allen Cross 2/1/65 to 9/30/06

ISCARS received word this past week that a crew member for Scott Krehling passed away. Gregory Allen Cross was friendly, hard working, and dedicated to Scott’s racing efforts. To Donna, Brittany, Tara, Scott, Michael, and crew members, we extend our sympathy and prayers as you press onward. Thanks for sharing Greg with us. --Randy Claypoole, ISCARS President

From Donna:

My name is Donna and I planned to marry this man. Now rather than planning a wedding I’m planning a Memorial Service. We lost Greg yesterday very suddenly to what appears to have been a heart attack. He was only 41yrs. old. Anyone who ever met him would never forget the encounter. He was the real deal. He and my nephew, Michael, were part of Scott Krehling’s pit crew. Greg also played drums and planned to record with Scott. He loved racing and there wasn’t any task that he couldn’t accomplish. Greg could have played pro football, but because of an accident his football career ended early. He loved the Washington Redskins. He has a 21yr. old daughter Tara that he adored, he also very much wanted to be the father to my daughter, Brittany. We will miss him everyday of our life.
