Hobgood Wins Pole, Will Start From Rear

Nashville, TN (June 23, 2006) -- Jake Hobgood won the pole for tonight's ISCARS Dash Series Music City 100 at Music City Motorplex after being the last car on the track for time trials. His lap of 20.098 seconds for 106.757mph bested Danny Bagwell by over two tenths of a second and nearly three quarters of a mile per hour. Rounding out the top five are Johnny Chapman, Hickory race winner Eric Wilson, and Scott Weaver.

Hobgood, Scott Krehling, and Robert Bruce will move to the rear of the field due to having to make changes on their racers after qualifying.
