“ Michigan Native Crosses The Border For Some Short Track Racing”

TOLEDO, Ohio (May 17, 2007) - - For part time ARCA RE/MAX Series (ARS) driver Jim Hollenbeck, any opportunity he has to compete in an event, he holds nothing back. That same attitude applies for Sunday’s Hantz Group 200 by Federated Auto Care.

Hollenbeck aboard the No. 49 Spectra Contracting Ford Fusion hopes to make his 2007 ARCA debut a memorable one. With a previous Toledo-best of 22nd, the Kalamazoo , Michigan native hopes to find some magic and soar into the top-10 which would award the veteran driver a career best in his 13th ARS start.

Hollenbeck knows he may not have the stoutest equipment in the field, but with the confidence of his all-volunteer crew, the team is feeling confident than ever heading into the eighth race of the season.

“I’m just glad to be back in ARCA competition,” said Hollenbeck. “It’s been a while since we’ve raced and we really have worked hard on our program since the conclusion of our last race last season, we tore the car apart, rebuilt it from scratch and I think we’re going to have a good handling racecar this weekend.”

When asked about his previous Toledo finish, Hollenbeck noted, “Thinking back to 2005, it was a competitive race. We started in the back because of qualifying being rained out. We fought the car all day long but had a respectable finish. Hopefully all the bugs are out the window and we can record a finish that we deserve.”

Toledo marks the first of a limited schedule for Hollenbeck and his Hollenbeck Motorsports team this season. In addition to Toledo , the team has circled the race dates of Michigan International Speedway, Berlin Raceway and The Milwaukee Mile as final with a few more to be determined at a later date.

“Our biggest project right now is sponsorship for this team. We’re unable to run a bigger schedule because we’re not a full time sponsor, but we continue to work every day trying to change that. I want to thank everyone who’s stepped up to the plate to help us get to the track this weekend. Hopefully for a change we can have a little luck and bring the car home in one piece and move on to our next race.”

Hollenbeck Motorsports also has reunited with Hixson Motorsports for Sunday’s event. Hixson Motorsports, a long time competitor in the ARS will help the team on race day on pit road. “I want to thank Hixson Motorsports for assisting us this weekend. Wayne and his whole team is a great bunch and I’m looking forward to working with them again on Sunday.”

Hollenbeck Motorsports still has openings on their No. 49 Ford for the remainder of the 2007 season. Immediate one race or long term sponsorship positions are available. Contact the team today and see how the ARCA RE/MAX Series provides a ROI (Return-On-Investment).

The Hantz Group 200 by Federated Auto Care (200 laps/100 miles) is the eighth of 23 events on the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule. Practice begins Saturday, May 19 with a hour and a half ( 12:30pm-2:00pm Local Time) session planned. ARCA SIM Factory pole qualifying is slated for later in the afternoon at 3:30pm Local Time. The event will take the green flag Sunday beginning at 12:00pm Local Time. The event will televised live on SPEED with additional race coverage online at arcaracing.com
