ARCA RE/MAX Series Race No. 7, Buckle-Up Kentucky 150
Kentucky Speedway, Sparta , Kentucky

Race Information: Event: Buckle-Up Kentucky 150, Saturday, May 12 at 8:00 p.m. Local Time Track: Kentucky Speedway Qualifying: Saturday, May 12 at 4:00 p.m. Local Time; Track Length: 1.5-mile paved oval.

Winchester Recap: ARS (ARCA RE/MAX Series) rookie Nick Tucker made his Winchester Speedway debut last Sunday afternoon in the Winchester ARCA 200. After qualifying a career-best 11th, Tucker charged his FreeFeds.org Dodge Charger to as high as second before engine problems erupted forcing a 26th place finish.

Inaugural Event: Tucker, an employee for Evernham Motorsports will attempt to make his ARCA RE/MAX Series Kentucky Speedway debut on Saturday. The Carter-2-Motorsports is utilizing the first of two races at the Northern-Kentucky based track not only as a point’s race but also a test to help the team improve the intermediate program for the remainder of the 2007 season.

Previous Start: Tucker doesn’t enter Kentucky Speedway in the dark. In 2005, Tucker made a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) start with Brevak Motorsports. He started 33rd and finished 23rd.

Points Position: Heading into Saturday’s race, Tucker sits 24th in ARS point standings just 120 markers behind 20th place competitor. In the owner standings, James Hylton, car owner of the No. 48 Dodge Charger sits 24th in the standings, just a mere 35 points behind car owner Andy Belmont.

Support The Team: FreeFeds.org will continue their primary sponsor of Tucker’s Dodge at Kentucky Speedway. A new sponsor to the ARCA RE/MAX Series this season, FreeFeds.org intent is simple. FreeFeds.org’s sole purpose is to gain public support for adding parole for non-violent, non repeat offenders to the federal prison system. They are of the belief that the federal justice system is in need of a total reform. The organization, however, is mainly interested in working toward adding a system of parole for non-violent offenders as part of that overall reform.

And Thanks For Your Support: In addition to FreeFeds.org, Carter-2-Motorsports will also carry associate sponsorship from Explore America , The Idaho Observer, RVrentToGo.com, 100fold.net, and Accelerating Developments International (ADI).

Carter-2-Motorsports, Kentucky Speedway Pre-Race Quotes:
Nick Tucker, driver of the No. 48 a href="http://www.freefeds.org/">FreeFeds.org Dodge Charger:

On Winchester Speedway : “Sheer disappointment. We had a great car. It was a car capable of finishing in the top-10 but we have some bad luck with the engine. Nothing we can do about it except move on.”

On Kentucky Speedway : “I am looking forward to going back to Kentucky . I haven’t been there in two years, but I think we’ll be okay. We are working to improve our mile-and-a-half program, so I’m sure we’ll have some work to do, but we are going with our head held high and looking for a solid finish.”

On Night Racing: “Night racing is so much fun. I really wish we would do it more often. The weather conditions improve the racing I think. I think the fans are going to see a great show and it’s going to be one of the most exciting events of the year.”

On Points: “We slipped to 24th in ARCA RE/MAX Series owner points which is unacceptable to me. We deserve to be a lot higher than that. We’ve had good cars just a lot of bad luck. I hope the monkey will give us a break and we can move forward in both the driver (24) and owners standings this weekend.”
