Inaugural Event: Tanner, a successful dirt late model driver from Pennsylvania will attempt to make his inaugural short track debut at the historic Toledo Speedway. The team will also unload a Pontiac Grand Prix which is nearly extinct from ARCA competition on Saturday.

Rookie Year: 25-year old Billy Tanner will attempt to make his third ARS start in the first race held at Toledo Speedway this season. In addition to last week at Kentucky Speedway, Tanner also participated in the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series opener at Daytona International Speedway in a Ford prepared by longtime ARCA owner and former driver Bob Schacht. With 11 races left on his schedule, Tanner should have 13 races to his resume before planning to leap towards a full schedule in 2008.

Calling The Shots: Corrie Stott, a veteran crew chief in the NASCAR ranks will serve as both the owner and crew chief for Tanner's bid this weekend. Stott has had success with ARCA RE/MAX Series driver Michael Faulk, whom together scored a top-ten finish at Talladega Superspeedway in 2006.

All Aboard: CheapCaribbean.com will sponsor the team's effort in the eighth ARCA RE/MAX Series event of the season. CheapCaribbean.com is owned by COMM Group, Inc (Customer Oriented Marketing and Management Group) which provides wholesale and direct to consumer distribution of vacation packages, resort reservations, and cruises worldwide to Bermuda, the Caribbean, and Mexico , servicing over 250,000 passengers per year.

Following Toledo : Following this weekend's festivities, the group will participate in the open test at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) before concentrating their efforts on the new Iowa Speedway. In addition to Iowa , the team also plans to utilize their testing notes to compete in the ARCA 200 at MIS following the 10th event of the season at Pocono.

Stott Classic Racing, Toledo Speedway Pre-Race Quotes:
Billy Tanner, driver of the No. 07 CheapCaribbean.com Pontiac:

On Kentucky : “Not a bad race for us in our debut together. We had the wrong transmission ratio which hurt us a little bit, but we were able to bounce back from it and collect a good finish. I hope Kentucky was the start of good things to come.”

On Stott Classic Racing: “Everyone over at SCR is as professional as they come. I really enjoy working with everyone and Corrie is such an influence on my racing career. I'm learning a lot and I thank him for that. I only think the chemistry between us is going to get better and the results will prove that.”

On Toledo : “I am looking forward to the challenges that Toledo Speedway will bring. Im never competed in a short track event in the ARCA RE/MAX Series, but I am sure it's going to be a blast. We're not running for championship so we're going to win and we're going to do everything we can to be in contention for the final fifty laps.”

On The ARCA RE/MAX Series: “The ARCA RE/MAX Series is a great stomping ground for any driver. I'm enjoying competing in the series. I'm learning a lot about the cars which will help me as I try to make my transition into NASCAR in the next couple of years. We're running a limited schedule this year, but I really hope it turns into a full season in 2008.”
