Colombian Grabs First Pole in Formula One

Colombian Formula One driver Juan Pablo Montoya has grabbed his first pole while dominating the field Saturday for the German Grand Prix in Hockenheim.

Formula One rookie Montoya, a winner of the famed Indianapolis 500, will start Sunday's race beside Williams-BMW teammate Ralf Schumacher of Germany.

Mika Hakkinen qualified third in a McLaren-Mercedes, just ahead of the Ferrari of world champion Michael Schumacher.
