NASCAR Nextel Cup racing team. Famous Indy car owner Roger Penske started fielding NASCAR teams in 1972, and after a time outside the series returned in 1991.
Current and former Penske Racing South Winston Cup and Nextel Cup drivers include Bobby Allison, Donnie Allison, Gary Bettenhausen, Neil Bonnett, Kurt Busch, George Follmer, Mark Donohue, Dave Marcis, Jeremy Mayfield, Ryan Newman, and Rusty Wallace.
