Pegaso

Pegaso
Vehicle Manufacturer

A manufacturer of cars and trucks from 1949-1994 based in Barcelona, Spain.

Founded by Don Wilfredo Ricart.  Ricart once worked for Ferrari, but was upset with the company after Enzo Ferrari insulted Ricart's intelligence.  This was the inspiration for founding Pegaso.

Two street cars capable of competing with Ferraris were built, the Z102 and Z103.

Sports car production ended after the 1958 model year when Pegaso's parent company discontinued the Pegaso cars in favor of its truck business.
