MG was formerly a brand of British cars until 2005 when parent company MG Rover Group, Ltd., was purchased by the Nanjing Automobile Corporation.
Vehicle names used by MG currently and throughout history include: 1100, 18/80, 1300, MGA, MGB, MGC, Midget, and TD.
