Justin Bieber's New Cadillac Escalade

Teen music sensation Justin Bieber was seen driving a black Cadillac Escalade in February of this year, making him the latest in a long line of successful celebrities to embrace Cadillac's emblematic SUV.

Bieber has been sighted in several high-end vehicles, so the Escalade is not a big surprise. His most famous ride is probably his Ferrari F430, a rear-wheel drive Spider with a 4.3L V8 that outputs about 483 horsepower at 8500 RPM and 343 lb ft of torque at 5250 RPM. It's certainly not a bad car for a 16-year-old pop sensation, but it's hard not to feel a tinge of jealousy that Bieber gets an Escalade as his B-car.

That's not to say that the Escalade doesn't pack a serious punch. Escalades are known for two things: power and luxury. It's a given that Bieber's vehicle has both of these traits in spades.

There's no info available about the year or specs, but assuming that Bieber was willing to spend some cash on the Escalade--and it's a safe assumption, as his Ferrari is worth over $200,000--the power plant of the vehicle is likely a 6.2L V8, with either all-wheel or rear-wheel drive. There are a few trim options on the 2011 Escalade, and Bieber's vehicle would have 7-spoke chromed aluminum 22-inch wheels. There also aren't any shots of the inside of the SUV, but the luxury trim has built-in DVD screens on the rear of the headrests. That would explain why Bieber is still being driven around in his Escalade, despite the fact that he has a driver's license. He's probably screening a few teen-centric music videos on his way to photo ops.

If the Bieb ever does climb behind the wheel, he'll enjoy 403 horsepower of SUV bliss at 5700 RPM. Torque on the new Escalade is 417 lb ft at 4300 RPM. The Platinum Collection trim of the 2011 Escalade also has heated and cooled cup holders, power-assist steps, a Bose 5.1 sound system, and LED headlamps. It's one of the most luxurious vehicles ever released by Cadillac and regularly ranks high in customer satisfaction ratings, although it's also hated by eco-conscious consumer groups for its 13/18MPG fuel efficiency.

To put it simply, Bieber's a lucky young man if he's into cars at all. Between his Ferrari and his Escalade, he's got luxury and speed, not to mention style. If Justin Bieber picks his own vehicles, it's hard to argue with his taste; his SUV is decked out with high-end features and his Ferrari Spider packs a huge punch.
