VMS Teammates, Mikey Kile and Steve Arpin Turn In Solid Performances at Berlin Raceway

Marne, MI (8/8/10) - Venturini Motorsports returned to Berlin Raceway this weekend with fan favorite Steve Arpin and ARCA Series Championship contender Mikey Kile. The talented duo scored a Top-5 and a Top-10 finish respectively. Both drivers qualifying in the top-10 spent the entire night up front. Steve Arpin, driving the No 55 Mike's Hard Lemonade Toyota, finished 3rd while Mikey Kile improved his chances with a 7th place finish behind

the wheel of the No 25 Venturini Motorsports Toyota.

In a race that didn't see its 1st caution until lap 53, Kile and Arpin spent most of the night leap frogging each other for position. Long-green-flag runs made things interesting as both drivers had to race the track just as much as they had to race the field due to decreasing tire wear. Both drivers put themselves in contention when the race's final caution flag came out on lap 147 of 200. After flawless pit stops by both crews, each driver picked up two positions, Kile emerging in 2nd place with Arpin just 2 spots back in 4th. While both drivers were unable to capture the top spot, they came away with respectful finishes.

After almost a 1-month hiatus from ARCA racing to compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, Steve Arpin returned to the track with new VMS Crew Chief, Kevin Caldwell in command. Arpin and Caldwell proved to be a good fit as they were solid from the time the No 55 Mike's Hard Lemonade machine rolled off the hauler.

In his first race at Berlin Raceway, Mikey Kile quickly familiarized himself with the unique short-track and turned in another strong performance. Coming off an 8th-place finish at Pocono, Kile and the No 25 Venturini Motorsports team picked up valuable points in his quest for the championship.

In advance of Saturday's Berlin ARCA 200 at Berlin Raceway, Steve Arpin & Mikey Kile joined forces with Holland Michigan's Police Department and participated in their annual Race Day at Family Fare event. The event promoted traffic safety and the importance of seatbelt and child restraint use.

Next Up, Venturini Motorsports will travel to New Jersey Motorsports Park for the Garden State ARCA 150 Presented by the American Red Cross on Sunday August 15th
