At least 35 people are feared dead in northern Pakistan after a bus veered off a mountain road and plunged into a river.

Friday's accident took place in the Changa area of Pakistani-controlled Kashmir.

Police say there is little hope of finding many survivors, since the bus fell into the fast-flowing waters of the Neelam River.

The accident occurred about 100 kilometers from the regional capital of Muzaffarabad.
