LONG AUTO CAMPING TRIP.

Publication: The New York Times
Date: 18 June 1922
M. A. Davis of this city, with his wife, will start tomorrow on a long-distance automobile camping tour to the Pacific Coast and back. They expect to camp out every night except when visiting friends in California. The itinerary for the entire trip covers about 8,000 miles. As the journey will be made by easy stages, Mr. Davis says it will probably be six months before returning to New York. The outward trip will be by way of Baltimore, Washington, Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, Salt Lake City, Portland, San Francisco to Los Angeles. Mr. Davis is president of the Campalong Company and is taking a compact open air equipment.
