Contact: Joe Dee (973) 491-7078

NEWARK, NJ — Fun-seekers and families planning a 2008 visit to Six Flags Great Adventure can save big by taking NJ TRANSIT to the popular theme park.

The savings are available on select dates throughout the 2008 season for bus customers using the No. 308 and No. 318 lines to and from the park in Jackson Township. The 308 operates between the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York and Six Flags, with an intermediate stop at Newark Penn Station, and the 318 operates between the Philadelphia Greyhound Bus Terminal (10th and Filbert Street) and Six Flags, with a stop at the Walter Rand Transportation Center in Camden.

NJ TRANSIT customers can save more than $48 off the price of bus fare and park admission by purchasing the two together. Customers should ask for the Six Flags package at a NJ TRANSIT ticket window, where they will receive their park admission pass.

Prices and total savings vary based on point of origin and admission package.

The discount is available weekends April 5 through April 20 for the No. 308 bus and April 5 through May 11 for the No. 318 bus. Dates on which the package deals are available vary by bus line throughout the season; customers are encouraged to pick up a brochure at the NJ TRANSIT ticket windows in New York, Newark, Philadelphia and Camden or visit www.njtransit.com

Park patrons boarding the No. 307 bus in Freehold will be able to obtain discounted admission by presenting their bus receipt at the Guest Services window upon arrival at the park.
