Better driving performance with Saturn strut bar

Customization has becoming the trend in the automotive scene, by taking apart the old parts and modifying the whole vehicle base on the owner's preference. For some, customization is merely to show off the exterior aspects of the car. But for others, it is a means to manipulate what is under the hood and chassis. Getting additional car accessory is not a bad idea, especially when it will improve driving performance. Saturn cars are built to give maximum riding comfort to its passengers, but they also have car accessories that will further improve the vehicle, like the Saturn strut bar.

A strut bar or strut brace is used to provide extra strength between the strut towers. The Saturn strut bar is designed to reduce the strut tower flex by tying two parallel strut towers together. This transmits the load of each strut tower during cornering via tension and compression of the strut bar which shares the load between both towers and reduces chassis flex.

A Saturn strut bar help motorists achieve sharper steering and light handling. It also improves chassis rigidity that gives the car better frame, great for performance driving.

The strut suspension system distributes the pressure of vertical suspension load on top of the vehicle’s strut towers. The suspension units balance the load to be distributed among other suspension units. The strut ties two parallel strut towers to strengthen it. The strength distributes pressure on the strut towers through the Saturn strut bar. The even distribution of pressure improves chassis strength. Saturn strut bars are high quality suspension component that improves chassis and strut towers’ rigidity. Engine performance benefit from it by achieving reduced under steer, improved tire wear and reduced metal fatigue in the strut tower area.

The strut bar belongs to a vehicle's suspension system. The suspension system is often times the target in customization, for technicians would sometimes lower or lift the car. Doing this, means manipulating the suspension system to achieve better handling and smoother ride.
